Customer Review: Caller ID too spotty
The phones are just fine in every way except the caller ID only works about 5-10% of the time. Very frustrating if you have grown used to screening calls. I would not recommend if caller ID is important to you otherwise go ahead and get it.
Customer Review: A Satisfactory Telephone
We purchased our VTECH, Model DS4122-3, telephone a few weeks ago; and so far it has worked great. It has single line operation and three handsets. The speaker phone feature seems to work well. It has an attractive contemporary appearance that reminds me of the way cell phones used to look. The numbers are large - easy to see and easy to dial. It has a distinct, pleasant, easy-to-hear ring. We have not yet tried all the features, such as caller ID, conferencing, and call waiting. Time will tell how well this telephone works, but so far I am very pleased.

Customer Review: new company/bad service
I purchased this phone for my son and had no complaints. I just made sure I added $10 every 3 months. After adding minutes to my son's phone on 7/3/08, it stopped working on 7/05/08. Apparently, the company that provided service for firefly changed. To make a very long story shorter, the new company now charges 35-cent daily fee (without informing us of impending changes), new sim cards were issued with new numbers and balances were not transferred. I think that their lack of disclosure is reprehensible and won't be adding any future minutes to that phone.

We bought this phone for our 7 year old daughter who has a vision impairment. We thought the buttons were big enough and the phone would be easy to use. Trying to refill minutes, getting a new sim card and using their worthless internet site has been a nightmare!! Shop elsewhere!
